Prepare for Exchange SE RTM
Microsoft have announced a set of important dates for end of support for both Exchange 2016 and Exchange 2019, during 2025. The new version of Microsoft Exchange, called Microsoft Exchange SE (Subscription Edition) is being released as RTM in late 2025. Exchange SE CU1 will be released later.
We plan on providing an Exchange SE lab test as soon as the Public Preview is available.

All existing customers of Microsoft Exchange are expected to use Exchange Online. Or to transition off Exchange 2016/2019 onto Exchange SE, in order to remain in Microsoft Support.
Many Microsoft Exchange customers will be in Exchange Hybrid mode, and they should be planning now on how to migrate to Exchange SE.

We expect to cover information on how to download Exchange SE RTM as soon as it is available. And will be posting a detailed Blog entry on Exchange SE lab test right here as soon as we can.
Exchange SE Migration Planning
Any organization using Exchange 2013, 2016, or 2019 should be planning right now on how they can migrate to Microsoft Exchange SE. It is recommended to be on Exchange 2019 CU14 with the latest Security Updates. And then move to Exchange 2019 CU15 when it is released. Move off any legacy Exchange 2013 or Exchange 2016 servers quickly.
Otherwise your legacy Exchange Servers will become out of Microsoft Support during 2025 H2.
Exchange SE will be the equivalent of an Exchange 2019 Cumulative Update (CU) following Exchange 2019 CU15.
